Over the weekend, Tehani Chin Fo, 19, and Taua Meziane, 18, won the titles of Miss and Mister Papeete 2014. This was the first Miss Papeete contest in four years, and it was the first ever Mister Papeete contest. They were elected outdoors at the climax of a gala ceremony. Eight women and eight men competed in five rounds of competition for the coveted titles. Runners-up for Miss Papeete 2014 were Mahealanie Tetuanui and Kohotu Ariitai; runners-up for Mister Papeete 2014 were Tama Tokoragi and Tommy Tihoni.
Prof. Chandni is polling her students on the question, "Why are the folks in Tahiti so sexy?" She keeps listening to the sexy voices of Tehani and Taua in interviews on Tahitian Radio 1, and suggests that all students do the same.
