The Press of Atlantic City reports that Miss America is set for September - September 15 to be exact. It will be televised live on U.S. broadcast network ABC. New Jersey Governor Chris Christie made the announcement. Looks like Mallory Hagan of New York, the current Miss America, will reign for less than a year - a situation that the current Miss USA and Miss Universe will likely find themselves in, too!
