Kamal Orlando Ibrahim from Limerick in Ireland is a Television Broadcaster, Model and a Multi-Disciplined Professional Adventurer. Recently based out of Sydney, he is a licensed Aeroplane, Glider and Paraglider Pilot, Skydiver and a Scuba Search and Rescue Diver. Kamal began working as a model in 2005. In 2009 he was invited to enter Mr Ireland. Kamal entered and won the contest. He then went on to represent Ireland in the Mr World competition in 2010 winning the title. The title took his career to new heights both in Ireland and internationally. Kamal has also been involved in a substantial amount of charitable and philanthropic work having helped to raise in excess of $3,000,000.00 for children’s and youth organisations worldwide. Kamal recently returned to Ireland as part of the new lotto presenting team and has been presenting the national lottery from January 2013.

Standard Digital News, 13-Jul-2013: there was pomp and color at the Miss World Kenya 2012 finals held on 12th July 2013 at Safari park hotel. The event was an invites only which saw 10 beauties try their best to win the coveted price. Coincidentally, the ten beauties are students from local universities which saw their respective campus students come to support their own.
This year’s miss world Kenya did not have the bikini wear category, as there was objection from persons of the Muslim faith. The two categories showcased were casual wear as the contestants’ dawned brown African outfits with different designs. The other category was the evening wear that saw the ladies show case their elegant flowing dresses.
Ubah Musa 18, won the congeniality award, which is an award that goes to the person who is most likeable and pleasant. All the contestants get to vote for this category.
The 2nd runners up position went to Sophia Umwanza plus a token of Kshs.50, 000, the 1st runners up position went to Leah Tesfamarian plus a token of Kshs. 100,000.
The lady of the day was 23-year-old Wangui Gitonga, a linguistic student at the German school. She was crowned Miss World Kenya 2013 and one year beauty services at any of the Ashleys salons country wide. She also went home with a whooping Ksh.1M.
Mrs. Terry Mungai the ashleys CEO, said that the winner was chosen for having a perfect dental formula, flawless skin and for being a good public speaker.
She will represent Kenya in the Miss World 2013 contest this September in Indonesia.

On Sunday june 23th Leila Aigbedion has beenchosen as Miss Supranational Netherlands 2013. Shewill represent the Netherlands this September at the international Miss Supranational 2013finals in Minsk, Belarus.
