Yasssssss! It is that time of the year! Malls through out Germany will be the venues for "Miss und Miss" elections, gearing up for the Miss Germany und Mister Germany finals later this year and early next year. Over the weekend, at the Ernst-August-Galerie in Hannover, the capital of Niedersachsen, Charlotte Kramer, 17 and a student, won the Miss Hannover title. Mathias Osada, 27, and a car salesperson, won the Mister Hannover title. As one newspaper put it, "Jung, Atraktiv, und Blond." Dean Harris here at Beauty School is particularly fond of these Miss und Mister contests, as they are co-ed and held in malls! Also, on his maternal side, he traces his ancestry to Baden-Württemberg.
