MISS WORLD ECUADOR 2014

We would be dancing, too, if we were wearing this stunning, $40,000 crown. Inspired by the glorious natural beauty of Ecuador, it contains 400 carats of blue topaz, was designed by Maritza Massuh, and hand-made by Ecuadorian artisans.

The new Miss World Ecuador 2014 is Virginia Limongi Silva, 20, and a nutritionist/dietitian. She won the coveted title on Saturday (04-Oct) at a gala, nationally-televised ceremony from Parque Lineal in Guayaquil. Virginia also won the Most Photogenic, Best Smile, and "Miss Esplendor Gloria Saltos") sub-titles. Runners-up were Gianina Bayona, Ritha Limaico (Best Talent sub-title winner, too), María Belén Intriago, and Estefanía Realpe. Emiliana Valdez won the Miss Congeniality sub-title.
