Miss Universe New Zealand 2010 beauty contest will take place on June 5 at Duxton Hotel Wellington in Wellington. Katie Taylor, Miss New Zealand Universe 2009 will crown her successor during the event. About 13 delegates are expected to compete.

The new beauty queen will compete at the Miss Universe 2010 beauty pageant on August 23 to be held in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA.
