It is "high season" for the Miss America system. Now through the end of July there will be at least one state election every week! Here is a re-cap of some recent contests.
The 68th annual Miss Hawaii is Miss Paradise Kauai Stephanie Steuri, 20 and a biology major at the University of Hawaii Manoa. She won the title two weeks ago during a gala event at the Hawaii Convention Center in Honolulu.
Miss New Jersey 2014 is Cierra Kaler-Jones, 21 and a Rutgers student. She won the title this weekend. Runners-up were Brenna Weick and Sandra Okuboyejo.
The new Miss Michigan is MT Maviglia (last on the left). Here she is with the other finalists. A total of 34 contestants competed this weekend for the title at the Frauenthal Center for the Performing Arts in Muskegon.
