MISS AND MISTER WORLD MALTA 2014

Joanne Galea was crowned winner for Miss World Malta, and Bjorn Demicoli won the title of Mr World Malta last night.

This year’s Miss World Malta was the nineteenth edition of this national Maltese contest, organized by Modelle International under the patronage of Sue Rossi and Claudia Calleja.

The finals of Miss World will be held in November 2014, in London, while the finals of Mr World will take place in Torbay English Riviera in June. The contestants from Malta will be participating amongst representatives from 120 countries, watched by an estimated 2.5 billion televiewers.

 In addition to both winners being presented with various gifts, Joanne was crowned with a bespoke crown, specifically designed for the occasion by Tresor Paris – an upmarket French brand represented in Malta by 202 Jewellery. (Source: www.eve.com.mt)
