Miss World Kenya 2014 is Miss Machakos County, Idah Nguma, 22 and a marketing student at Kenyatta University. She won the prestigious title last night at the climax of a glittering gala at the Kenyatta International Convention Centre in Nairobi. Runners-up were Miss Kirinyaga County, Wangeci Wachira, 21, and Miss Bungoma County, Lucy Muindi Amtalla, 21. A total of 24 women competed in this year's contest.
