The 27th annual Best Model of the World contest took place this past Saturday, 06-dec-2014, in Istanbul. The prestigious contest is organized by Erkan Özerman, for whom this year marks his 55th anniversary in show business. Emerging as the overall winners were Caner Tanrıverdi (male category) of Turkey and Ema Diogo (female category) of Angola. First runners-up were Sebastian Maenes (male category) of Belgium and Cansu Melis Karakuş (female category) of Turkey. Second runners-up were Jonathan Bwanga (male category) of Congo and Rebecca Enz (female category) of Lichtenstein. Among the additional titles awarded were:
- Best Gentleman - Angola's Carloz Nascimento
- Best Of Model Miss - Colombia's Laura Jimenez
- Best of Model Mister - Greece's Georgios Pappas
