FRONT PAGE NEWS

Thank god that beauty pageants still make the front pages of newspapers in some countries! Case in point - Czech Republic. The new Česká Miss 2013 Gabriela Kratochvílová graces the front page of today's DNES. There is also full-page coverage on the inside of the paper, and in the first section! Very rarely - except in their hometown newspapers - do Miss America or Miss USA get front-page coverage when they are crowned. And in many newspapers, their crownings go unmentioned.
