Mikuyo Matsuo, 25, representing Mie Prefecture, is the new Miss Universe Japan 2013. She was elected today during a gala event in Tokyo. Mikuyo is a huge manga fan and is herself a cartoon artist. A total of 42 women from across Japan competed for the the highly coveted title. Watch the entire contest on the YouTube channel MUJTV!
