Last night, an electric, grand gala saw the crowning of Nazareth Cascante Madrigal, 21 and pharmacy student, as Miss Costa Rica 2012. She will be her country's delegate to Miss Universe 2012. Ten women competed for the coveted title. Last night's gala marked the 59th anniversary of the pageant. Nazareth should be competitive at Miss Universe 2012 - all BS faculty agree that Costa Rica is a major Miss Universe roll.
