Laura Martínez, and Daniel Munóz, are the new guapos oficiales of Pontevedra. They were elected last night during a contest at the Discoteca Queen in Mos. Yet again, the contest organizers were social media masters - using Facebook to its fill potential to generate excitement and give fans frequent and timely updates.
Prof. Scribner will write an official letter to the organizers to ask if they can be Guest Leccturers at her new, graduate-level course in next academic year, "The Beauty of Facebook - An Inquiry into Beauty Pageants and Social Media." (Photos: Miss y Mister Pontevedra Facebook)
