Miss Santa Fé Brenda González, 20, is the new Miss Universe Argentina 2013. First runner-up was Miss Chaco María José Leiva; Miss Capital Federal María Guadalupe Elliot was second runner-up. The contest was held over the weekend in Buenos Aires, at the La Rural Exposition Center's Salón Frers. This year, the event was graced by the presence of Miss Argentina 1973, Susana Romero, who was among the top 12 semifinalists at that year's Miss Universe in Athens, Greece. The Miss Universo Argentina organization is conducted by Sra. Mirta Schuster.
