Miss America.
At least that is what the ratings seem to indicate. The pageant, airing on ABC, averaged a 1.9 rating with adults 18-49, up 19 percent from January's showing. The telecast, which ran from 9 p.m. to 11 p.m., drew 8.43-million viewers, up 18% from last year for its fourth year of audience growth. It was Miss America's best performance ratings-wise since 2004, the last time the pageant was held in September in Atlantic City. Here's the play-by-play:

With the exception of Lorraine, BS Librarian, the entire faculty and staff of BS were thrilled with the judges' selection of Nina Davuluri of New York as Miss America 2014. Of course, Prof. Chandni has joined the hordes of people spreading deliberate un-truths about Nina. What is Prof. Chandni saying? That she was Nina's Bollywood dance coach!
