The Miss Universe Creed, as read (for the last time) by the Netherlands' Angela Visser, Miss Universe 1989, during the victory walk of the newly-crowned Miss Universe 1990, Norway's Mona Grudt.
-------------------------------------------------------
We here at Beauty School sincerely wish that The Donald and Paula Sugar Honey would consider bringing back this creed, or some variation thereof (it did change over the years). The current world situation calls on peace, mutual understanding, friendship, and goodwill. And before we condemn anyone for their race, ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation, political opinions, socioeconomic status, or even the government policies of that "anyone," let us recite this creed.
And, yes, demonstrations against the Israeli government's policies toward Palestine are allowed on the Beauty School campus. However, do not even try to hide your antisemitism behind your "pro-Palestine" stance. No hatred allowed, and any and all signs, buttons, literature, etc. that promote hate or antisemitism will be confiscated and the holders and distributors thereof will be punished to the fullest extent of the law.
Do you understand, @missuniversusa? Keep your vile, nasty, French antisemitism to yourself.
