Saturday evening saw the election of Mister Rodeio Brasil 2014 and Musa do Rodeio Nacional 2014, one of our very favorite co-ed contests. The election was held at North Shopping Barretos, a city in the Brazilian state of São Paulo (SP) that is cattle country central and home to the country's vibrant, almost Texas-like rodeo culture.

The new Mister Rodeio Brasil 2014 is Mister Minas Gerais David Alexandre, 25, 1m86, and a physical education student. First runner-up for the Mister title was Mister Paraíba Anderson Dantas, 22 and 1m84. A total of 12 men competed for this year's title:
- Amazonas: Marcell Arantes
- Distrito Federal: Gilson Guimarães
- Goiás: Lukas Bruks
- Mato Grosso do Sul: Cidimar Freitas
- Minas Gerais: David Alexandre
- Monte Alto (SP): Lucas Rocha
- Nuporanga (SP): Lucas Rodrigues
- Paraíba: Anderson Dantas
- Rio de Janeiro: João Fellipe
- São Paulo: Luiz Otávio
- São Simão (SP): Marcos Shneyder
- Tocantins: Inácio Franco

The new Musa do Rodeio Nacional 2014 is Tabapuã (SP) Natália Bichuete, 18, 1m77, and a model. First runner-up for the Musa title was Miss Goiás Larissa Moraes, 18.

The annual co-ed contest is organized by MF Communications & Events. Dear President of MF Communications & Events, we eagerly await our invitation to judge next year's Mister & Musa Rodeio! ;-)
