Contestant No. 12, Nicholas Ngo won the Manhunt Singapore 2014 title on 11-Sep-2014 at the thundering climax of a gala event, where the finalists were cheered as if they were rock stars, at the One Farrer Hotel and Spa. A law student at the National University of Singapore, Nicholas is 24 and stands 1m73. As reported by Asia One, as a child, he was weak, skinny, often sick. Now, he is a gym rat and Muay Thai enthusiast. Runners-up for the coveted Manhunt Singapore title were Nicholas Chong, 25 and a personal trainer; and Wesley Ee, 23 and student at the National University of Singapore. The Manhunt Singapore competition includes two categories of contestants - one for men between the ages of 18 and 30 and one for men over 30. Winning the Senior Manhunt Singapore 2014 title was Choo Yew Meng, 45 and a business development manager. Runners-up were Vincent Lam, 37 and a bank manager; and Linus Li, 56 and a senior sales executive.
As per Asia One, "The highlight of the night was definitely the performance segment, where all the finalists gathered to shake their booty. Dancing energetically, doing push-ups and performing martial arts in only white trunks, they made the crowd go wild with their sexy display of toned biceps and rock-solid abs."
