At the climax of a glittering, outdoor gala in Guía de Isora, Tenerife last night, Mister Alicante David Roca Martínez, 24 and mighty 1m91, was elected Mister Spain International 2014/Míster Internacional España 2014. David will now represent Spain at Mister International 2014, scheduled for 18-Oct in Seoul, Korea. 32 men competed for the title. After three presentations (traditional costume, sunga, and black tie/formal), the field was narrowed to 12: Tarragona (fast-track sports winner); Alicante (fast-track traditional costume winner); Barcelona (fast-track social media winner); Las Palmas (fast-track sunga winner); Málaga (fast-track talent winner); Valencia (fast-track top model winner); Murcia; Huelva; Canarias; País Vasco; Navarra; and Tenerife. From these 12 the field was narrowed to five - Alicanate, Las Palmas, Málaga, Tarragona, and Valencia. The jury included journalist Fran Fajardo from Canarias7, journalist Daniel Iglesia from Diez Minutos, and Miss International Alejandra Andreu.
