Last Saturday, 13-Sep-2014, saw the election of Mister Minas Gerais 2015 for Mister Universo Brasil. 35 men from various municipalities competed at a gala, Las Vegas-themed event at the Teatro Casa de Cultura in Arcos. Capturing the Mister Universo Minas Gerais 2015 was Mister Scarpas do Lago Edimar Fagundes. Runners-up were Lucas Viana, Mister Ipatinga; Matheus Claus, Mister Pimenta; Renan Prado, Mister Viçosa; and Diego Pacciny, Mister Nova Resende. All of the contenders were top-notch, and we hope to see them in other competitions in the future.

P.S. The state of Minas Gerais in Brazil is the second most populous state in the South American nation. So populous in fact that it can support two major Mister Minas Gerais competitions with the span of a week. Coming this Saturday, 20-Sep-2014 is Mister Minas Gerais 2015 for Mister Mundo Brasil. All we can say is we are looking forward to two sunga competitions in one week! ;-)
